Saskatchewan Morgan Horse Club High Point Award System
The fee of $10 is a one-time fee for the life of the horse. This one-time fee covers all Divisions, i.e., Open, All Morgan, Western, English, etc.
Payment of the entry fee must be received by June 1st. Show results must be received by the recorder within 30 days after the show.

Saskatchewan Morgan Horse Club Inc. High Point Morgan Competition Award Systems Rules
Open to registered Purebred and Partbred horses which are owned or leased by a member of the Saskatchewan Morgan Horse Club (SMHC) who resides in Saskatchewan.
(a) Points will be compiled from Morgan classes from horse shows which are advertised and open to all exhibitors, excluding schooling shows and clinics.
(b) To be eligible for an award the horse must be entered in and participate in one of the Morgan Horse Shows sponsored by SMHC. (c) In order to be eligible for an award in a Division the horse must achieve points in at least 2 classes in Division 1 and 3 classes in all other Divisions. (d) The entrant shall use only the points achieved in 3 shows of their choice. It is not necessary to use the points achieved in the shows designated in 2b. (e) In the case of Equitation and Showmanship Rule No. 2 (a,b,c,d) apply to the individual. (f) Both owner and rider must be members of the SMHC.

Junior exhibitors must comply with the same rules as senior exhibitors except youth awards which are subject to the Canadian Morgan Horse Association (CHMA) rules not including Rule Nos. 10 and 11.
All entries must be received by the recorder no later than June 1st of the first year the horse is shown.
All show results must be received by the recorder no later than 30 days after the show.
All deadlines will be strictly adhered to with no exceptions.
All entries will be verified against show results from eligible shows.
A perpetuating trophy will be presented to the owner of the horse earning the most total points.
Entries must be properly completed or will be classified as invalid.
Pleasure classes will include Junior Horse, Maiden, Novice, Amateur, Limit, Senior Horse, Stallion, Gelding, Mare, Open, Open Champion or Stake. Junior riders to count only in Youth divisions.
Points accumulated in Youth classes will count only in Youth Divisions.
Novelty classes are not eligible for points.
Multiple division performance classes will count in the Division specified by owner, the same as in CMHA rules.
Awards will be certificates.

Youth Exhibitor – points go to the exhibitor and to be earned in Equitation and Showmanship classes in which the Youth is judged. This Division will be split into two groups (14-17 years of age and 13 and under) if entries permit. Ages are as of January 1st of the showing year.
